October Rules

Some Strict Rules Ive made for myself and this month. Its CRUCIAL that I follow these. They may seem a little over the top, but Im wanting fast results so they are a necesity.

No baked Goods, No Candy, No Fast Food.
-I can typically avoid the fast food part, unless I come home to find pizza or something that my mom has bought. Thats when I cave on that front. Unless I can allow myself to ONLY eat one slice then I refuse to eat it at all. I also will not eat any form of burger or taco etc etc that comes from a fast food joint. Like I said, I never buy myself fast food...so this isnt a huge pitfall in my diet. Baked goods, on the other hand, are another story. It seems like someone is always bringing something yummy to work that is baked. Or to church even. Sometimes I feel an urge to just bake for no good reason myself...just because I enjoy doing it. So a very large goal I have set is to not eat ANY baked goods this month. Its crucial to my weight loss goal and honestly...eating a pumpkin muffin isnt worth not looking super cute for Jake. :) Hes pretty good motivation. Same rule for candy. NONE ALLOWED. Not even a taste. I dont feel sad at all about this. I mean, really...its my mind thats making me feel staisfied, not the candy. and I feel guilty afterwards anyway so where is it getting me? nowhere except chubbsville.

WAWA. Lots of it.
-I have to keep myself hydrated as much as possible. End of story.

Excersize, 6 days a week.
-I usually stick to this, but lately with me being sick a week ago and now my excersize partner having a cough, Ive really slacked. Instead of running 4 or 5 miles every other day, Ive cut it down to a quick mile or a 2.5 mile. Im glad that I have a race on the 17th to keep me motivated :)

Crunches, EVERY night.
-This one seems odd, but I figure if I can get some ab work in every single night before bed time then that will do nothing but help my situation. Ab muscles are pretty much some of the only muscles that can be worked out every day so I figure I have NO excuse to not do some crunches before bedtime. I want to get at least 100 in, which is not hard at all...so hopefully Ill end up doing more each night.
